In this collection of the “Kraton” series, we are inspired by the meaning of the heirloom of the Kraton Yogyakarta or in Javanese culture, it is called the eight “Ampilan Dalem”, one of which is the embodiment of Galing (Merak). “Ampilan Dalem” are the heirlooms that accompany the Sultan during his miyos or walking out to attend major ceremonies at the Keraton (Jumenengan Dalem or coronation). Galing (Merak) itself symbolizes authority or beauty.
